Chicago Farmer Talks Summer Camp, Shoe Farmer & Break Dancing

Making the trip north to the Six Strings Club for Old Shoe and Allie Kral was an easy enough decision.  The surprise appearance from yearly Summer Camp Musical Festival performer, Chicago Farmer, was icing on the cake.  Between opener Flaccid‘s set and Old Shoe, Farmer gave me a few minutes of time to discuss his return to the festival in 2017.  View the video below to get a sneak peak of what’s to come at  #SCamp17:

With a decade and a half of SCamping under his belt, Chicago Farmer has more notches than anybody not named moe. or Keller Williams.  Originating in the Bloomington, Il. area, not too far southeast from Chillicothe, he has grown into a SCMF staple in every sense of the word.

Combining forces with Old Shoe to form “Shoe Farmer,” along with Allie Kral, the collective fashioned up some nice jams to close the night.  With the family vibes humming, I witnessed various members lead then shift into playing the pocket seamlessly.  By sets end, I assure you that nearly every attendants beer had been raised and each ‘n every foot had stomped.

You can find Allie with Yonder, Old Shoe and Chicago Farmer with me this May, but for now you can let the full photo album from our night together [here] hold you over.
